All residents of Nassau and Suffolk counties are aware of the abundance of feral cat colonies among us. We are also aware that there are few resources on Long Island for spay/neuter surgeries.
Our "Spay our Strays" program started in September 2006 with a generous grant from Pet Peeves Inc. Since than, that grant has been exhausted. Thanks to Build-A-Bear Workshop Bear Hugs Foundation (www.buildabear.com), the program will continue, with a generous grant, and All About Spay Neuter Inc. can now afford you LOW COST or FREE spay/neuter for these feral cat colonies.
Unlike other programs, All About Spay Neuter Inc. is available to trap the cats for you, transport them to spay/neuter facilities, hold them before and after surgery and then re-release them to you.
All cats will be spayed/neutered, eartipped, and rabies vaccinated.
This program is for FERAL CATS ONLY. All cats must be presented in traps or carriers and be eartipped.
